Self-Guided Hunt - $150.00
Opportunity - prepare your dogs for
season and enjoy early field hunt
Birds provided -
14 quail or 7 pheasants
Preserve responsibility - deliver birds
and provide land
Hunter’s obligation - provide dogs,
plant birds, harvest birds, take care of
harvested birds ($50.00 extra if
preserve plants birds)
Extra birds, if ordered - quail $9.00 ea.

(limit 3 guns)
Opportunity - Hunt over experienced
dogs; 1 to 3 guns per group
Birds provided and planted by guide.
1) 8 quail per gun or
2) 4 pheasants per gun or
3) 4 quail and 2 pheasants per gun
Extra birds, if ordered - quail $9.00 ea.

Birds will be cleaned and bagged
Hunts limited to 3 hours
Hunters need to bring gun, shells, orange
cap or vest, comfortable walking boots, vest
to carry birds in, and ice chest to carry birds
home. Hunter’s safety glasses also recommended.
Hunting license required.

Up to 3 hunters per group. Large groups
can be split up in groups of 3 or less.
We offer guided half-day hunts with all
birds cleaned and bagged,
ready for your trip home.
The guides will handle the
dogs, and help carry birds in
the field. Guide tips are always
welcome.
Hunters are welcome to bring their dogs
or use our well-trained dogs while hunting
on this hunting preserve.
Wehmeyer Hunting Preserve consists of
over 200 acres of great habitat, trees,
draws, and lots of native grass.
Hunting cart is available for physically
impaired hunters.
