Wehmeyer Elk Hunting

With each day, it brings us closer to spring.   Spring brings along with it the elk shedding their racks.   They’re starting their new growth of racks for this year.  Amazing to see!

Today marks the first day that one of the bulls has lost one of its racks.  Truly signs of winter fading into spring.  It’s so miraculous to see the new racks growing and pushing out the previous year’s hard rack.

Winter comes and goes, but the hunting excitement never slows down.  The bulls still have their racks, so that tells me that winter is still here.  Do you have the hunting fever?
