Wehmeyer Elk Hunting

Elk hunting at Wehmeyer Hunting Preserve this week was enjoyed by some great guys from Alabama.   This bull made for a challenging hunt.

This hunter came to Wehmeyer Elk Preserve for a very enjoyable hunt.  As you can see by the smile on his face, he was very pleased with his trophy!

Early summer is another exciting time of year, as the elk are growing their new racks.   All of the old racks have been shed and the new are growing.  I’ve just added some pictures of the elk as they’re growing  these new racks.  Won’t be long and it’ll be time for fall hunting!  Can’t wait!
